got an important assessment tomorrow. not at all worried about dog's obedience and task work but am very worried that my anxiety over passing will make dog anxious. this has been a problem for us in the past
have tried relaxation breathing (works for invasive medical procedures, doesnt work for this!!).
any tips appreciated

hum - it may sound mad but it will control you breathing and your dog will be a bit less likely to sense your anxiety - good luck trust your dog and it will be fine.

Yes, I always find singing helps (probably best to keep it under your breath) and make sure not to tense the lead (if any of the work is on lead).

Good luck!

thanks, will try humming and singing
most of assessment off lead i think. when on lead though i will keep lead slack. can dog still tell i am anxious even when lead slack?
i do trust dog. i'm the problem!
