Theres a man on my estate who has an English Bull Terrier. I was playing ball with my 9 month old Patterdale x on a field this morning. I walked around the block with her off the lead and the English Bull came around the corner off the lead. They stopped, looked at each other then the EB snarled and took off after her. I dread to think what would have happend if it had got hold of her. Anyway the PT out ran the EB half way around the estate. I didnt want to call mine in case she stopped and the EB wouldnt go back to its owner. They ran round the corner and i lost sight of them. When i got there the man had managed to get the EB on its lead with mine nowhere to be seen. He went home and i couldnt find mine. I walked home to get the kids dad to help me look and there was mine sitting at the back gate obviously shaken up.
This EB has attacked 3 dogs in a month on my estates and its still walking around off the lead. Now mine wont come out of the garden.
I am by no means writing this because it is an EB as i have a staff myself and know its not the breed. If my staff was aggressive there is no way i would walk round with her off the lead.
Should this man have his dog on a lead at all times when walking. I take mine out off the lead but they are not dog aggressive.
