pic on profile of our new baby Grin

our other dog is called honey, so we really wanted to avoid another name ending in 'y'

honey was a rescue so we didn't get to pic her name, never realised how difficult it would be!

any suggestions appreciated

I wanted to call my sisters puppy Taxi, but she wouldn't let me.

It was suggested on a thread on here once. I so want to stand in a park and yell "TAAAXI"

She called him Biscuit instead. Poor wee dog.

Your dog looks like an Alfie or a Jack though. You can still call him Taxi if you like though Wink

i like Alfie and Jack too
Grin at calling taaaxi

When we were naming our pup we read that you shouldn't use more than two syllables so they recognise their name easily. Personally I like names that aren't too twee/obvious (like Fluffy or Spot) and that you couldn't use for a child. Our family dogs were called after a Shakespearean character and a Roman general Grin

Your puppy is very gorgeous by the way - we had a black and white Springer Spaniel when was growing up. He was called Titus. We had friends with a Springer called Frodo, and later knew a Oscar (before it was a popular name for children).

Grin at "taaaaxi"

my sister lives in australia and wanted to call her dog 'shark' so that at the beach she could yell his name and cause panic

keep them coming Smile
