Have been recommended Arden Grange .
Apprently one of the better for them nutritens wise etc - not cheap but not an issue if good for doggie. (We have a 6.5 month lab)

Never heard of it , although I can get it locally , however had a quick browse through some doggies websites when I googled it and seems people like it.

Anyone here use it ?

I know there is a website for comparing dog food and contents but can't find it .

I used Arden Grange sensitive for my dog when we were testing out foods that would react with his skin. It was good for his skin, but he didn't particularly like it. It is one of the better dry foods on the market.

James WellBeloved, Orijen and Burns are also high quality. My dog semed to prefer JWB, although even that he didn't really eat. But he didn't pick at it so little that he lost weight like on AG.

Have you thought about natural feeding? Mine are on a mixture of barf and nature diet atm and they're doing really well on it.

Foster dog who is coming today will be getting JWB as he will most likely be getting dried food in the pound and will stay on dried food when he finds a rescue place. It's not good for them to switch foods suddenly.

We use Skinners Field & Trial Duck & Rice for our 3 yr old Lab and he thrives on it. It's about £22 for a £15 kilo bag.

Never fed it myself but have heard mixed reviews, about 50/50.

My boys are on NatureDiet, which I can't praise highly enough. It suits and is popular with all three, although one's an oldie, one is a youngster with a sensitive tum and one a middle-aged epileptic.

The Dog's Trust were feeing our rescued Jack Russell Arden Grange and recommended keeping up with it. I figured that they'd probably done their homework and trusted that they'd have chosen a good one.

We use a mix of Wainwrights tray and Wainwrights dry food. Heard good things about Arden Grange, and Orijen although have had a trial pack of Origen and my normally super greedy Doodle didn't seem too keen...

High meat content, no grains/fillers is the key really. People seem to be understanding this more and more now which is great.

My lab has always been on Arden Grange. It was the food his show breeder used and I continued to use it. He eats it well but he is a lab and will eat anything.

I tend to try and buy it at the dog shows as its about £10 a bag cheaper. Shows are free to spectate, and as I am local to a venue I pop down for supplies.
