Just keep an eye on her/him.

Our lab has stolen several chicken carcasses (cleverer than she looks when it comes to that lovely aroma!) with no ill effects.

Check out the signs and symptoms of likely bowel problems, and watch her/him closely for a couple of days but don't panic overly.

Keep an eye on the dog because broken chicken bones have very sharp ends - I don't know, but imagine they could do damage. Take to a vet if he/she seems in discomfort.

My dog has done this. I phoned the vets but they just said to keep an eye on whether he became ill, from bones splintering - so just watch whether he's well in himself, whether he's off food, toileting regularly and properly etc. Not much you can do aside from that now he's done it.

Yuck! These things happen. You can also check that your dog's gums are ok. If they are pink and go white when you press them, and return to pink when you take your finger away, you should be ok. It is a way to check that the dog's blood is going where it is supposed to go.
