how to teach taking treats gently?

i know it can be taught, i just dont know how. can anyone help?

I usually just say 'ah ah' if they snap/rush and take my hand and the treat away. Repeat until the dog does take it gently and then say 'gently, good' and let them take the treat.

Hold the treat very firmly almost hidden in your fingers so the dog has to carefully remove it from you, don't let go of it until they are being gentle with it.

I have followed the above suggestions myself and my dog takes his treats slowly and carefully.

One of our dog snatched with treats for a long time. He responds to 'Gentle', and being consistent in allowing him to take the treat from our hands. If we whip away our hand, he will snatch.
