Suffering with bad neck and arm and hand pain / tingling and awake again - almost 2 weeks now

I'll just pop the kettle on for a tea and maybe make a batch of pancake batter with my good arm and if there's a dog to cuddle that would be great too

Need some company, or help with the pancakes? Insomnia strikes again so happy to flip a few!

I'll stick with pancakes today then and maybe waffles. I'm sure Florence can make some crepes and Fernando can make something to go with them, maybe vodka and blueberry cocktails?

Can't even hope to sleep. Too much pain on every angle. The doctor I saw was so unsympathetic. Just said could take 6-8 weeks. I can not not sleep for that long surely.

My cat’s here again tonight but he’s fallen straight asleep. I wish I had his snooziness.

I’m on the wagon at the moment but wondering if Fernando wouldn’t mind rustling me up a blueberry mocktail. The cocktails sound delicious this evening, so I’ll just skip the vodka if that’s ok?

Wow loads of toast, it's a good job I made a batch of jams, lemon curd and marmalade.

There is also cheese and what my mother called 'milk cheese' that's wensedale crumled nto milk and warmed in the pan.

Florence is about to make some bagels and Fernando is making alcoholic berry smoothies.

@blackclouds what have you got for your pain? I use pain killers and anti inflamatories but also a tens machine, heat / cold and the odd cup of camomile tea.

I also have about 20 pillows of different sizes to arrange round me.

@blackclouds , I second Tens machine. It takes a while to get the positioning and intensity correct but it does work.
