Struggle to sleep overnight when husband away

My husband is on a stag do leaving me overnight on my own with our 6 month old for the first time for 3 nights.

As pathetic as it is I have always really struggled to sleep when I'm on my own - I'm quite a scaredy cat and find it really unsettling

Now im a parent im even more nervous to sleep - petrified of break ins etc!

Any advice?!?

Not sure if this is good advice or not, but if I'm ever feeling a bit anxious at bedtime I put on my favourite show on my iPad or phone and put it on really quietly, so quietly I can barely hear it at all. I stare at it while lying in bed and eventually close my eyes.
I imagine you're up a lot with baby? Mine is 5 months so I'm up every 2-3 hours.

I’m the same.
Feel slightly better when large teen is here with me but when they were both away DM offered to come and stay with me because I’m so nervous. I’m 50!
I always leave the lamp on in the spare room to make the landing lighter as we always sleep with the bedroom doors ajar. Have you tried leaving the hall light on or something?

I have the radio on low volume all night if DH isn't here.

Oh me too!!!
I have three dogs who would let me know someone was around long before they were close and security lighting!! But I'm still a big baby!!!
I read on my kindle until my eyes get so tired they close! I just hope I sleep all night and if I wake kindle is back out until I sleep again!
I don't ever sleep well when he's away!!
I don't have any other soothing tips! But radio or podcast very quietly is a good idea!
