Starstruck Season 3 - includes spoilers

I gave up after the second episode.

I always found her extremely high maintenance and was always unnecessarily over complicating things.

I feel there is a trend to make women unstable /scatter brained in order to make them funny and i especially dislike it when the writer is a woman.

That's exactly how I feel. Bridget Jones made me feel the same way. Like I want to hurl things at the TV and shout at them for being pathetic.

Also, the music reminds me of Charlie Brown.

I did watch till the end though.

Oh and she has the most annoying fucking friends ever. Ian is the worst. And lastly, why did they all have to turn up at the hospital en masse when thingy was having her baby? It doesn't happen in real life. It felt like Friends. In fact thr whole thing felt like a mish mash of clichés that have been done before.

To me, it genuinely felt like the actor who plays Tom wasn't fully available and she'd had to adapt the script to accommodate that.

I enjoyed it. Very bittersweet and not as much played for laughs. I would have liked to have seen some progression for Jessie over the last series, why is she still just bouncing around with no direction in life? Couldn't she have got a proper job or something by this series, to demonstrate she's evolving?

I'm glad it ended as it did. Fabulous cameo from Minnie Driver as always.

Have just watched all of S3.

I think the fundamental problem for me the whole way through this show is the complete absence of any chemistry whatsoever between Jessie and Tom. Never bought into them as a couple and consequently couldn't care less what happened to them/the will they won't they angle.

Thought Liam was lovely and tbh feel like he deserves to be with someone nicer than Jessie who just comes across as incredibly selfish and immature.

so relieved at the ending - i liked Liam

I think they were incompatible - Tom wanting children and Jessie not. And him being away so much filming made it difficult for them to sustain the relationship.

Just found this thread while googling hospital location for Kate’s birth!

I think the location is Ravenscourt Park Hospital, which is a disused hospital used for location work. It’s very art deco and quite lovely, but nowhere near fit for purpose in its current state (hence being used for location work). I was shown round there many years ago in the course of my job and it was totally empty and a bit eerie, but definitely a stunning building.

Yes, that does look like it @HalfWomanHalfChocolate . Very glamorous location, not very similar to most NHS hospitals!

Is 2026 and only just watched it for the first time as it’s on Disney+ but I never miss any good series but this one must have slipped through the net but yes great seasons and binged in one day also hopefully a season 4 is looming soon.. also the audience may grow this year to warrant another season. It does remind me of Offspring a bit and that was great too..
