Who has the remote control in your house?

I always have to have it. I'm tense if I'm watching telly and the remote isn't within easy reach.

I'm forever tweaking the volume, pressing mute for the adverts etc. It must be very annoying.

this is a v deep question, which gives conclusive evidence about the state of your relationship. in 8 years of marriage with dX I never had the remote once. Not once. A couple of times he said What do you want to watch, but when I chose something that wasnt his choice, he just criticised it until I gave in and changed to his choice.

A side effect of my failed marriage is that I now understand boxing (its not just 2 men hitting each other as I previously thought - there is style, tactics and strategy, groan), and have seen loads of martial arts films.

We have 'the buttons' on our house.
Probably share about 50:50

DS got the hang of them very quickly though & remember all the Sky channel numbers for Nick Jr & Boomarang etc

We always used to call it the "zitter" when I lived with my mum and dad.

Now we just refer to it as the buttons - quite like zitter though!

Dd2 has taken control of our 'dingers' aks remore controls. She even takes them with her to the loo in case someone tries to change channel while she's away!
