Listening to all this great, classic music makes me glad I am old enough to have enjoyed it when it was current. Thank goodness I don't have to look to someone like Pete Doherty to provide the soundtrack of my youth. These old guys are so much more accomplished, original and talented than many of the derivative bands we have to settle for today.

And before anyone responds - yes, there are exceptions to my sweeping generalisation!

IMHO

I enjoy the old bands more than newer bands

apart from ROBBIE

{didn't know TakeThat as wasn't in the UK at the time}
