i did explain about the woman and she seemed happy but now cannot sleep.

she says that she is really frightened that what happened to the african children is going to happen to me. The images were horrible, I really really regret letting her see them.

she also said 'why doesnt god look after them?' at which point dh (rampant atheist) said 'thats a very good question' and I said 'because he needs to work harder'

We have had it on all day, really enjoyed bits of it and quite a few have been toe curlingly awful..

Blubbed pathetically for about half an hour after dying baby film so Enid am with your dd on that one DD kept asking me "mummy why are you crying" as I was putting her to bed. I told her it was because she was such a lucky girl.

Enid the only thing I can think of to make her feel better is to do something positive. Racking my brains for stuff, but perhaps take her to put some money in a collection box for save the children and tell her she is helping feed all of those children.
Or, to get a positive religious spin could see write a letter to god to ask him to help the chidren.

enid, i reckon you say because he is giving us the opportunity to look after them...and we are trying to which is what this concert is all about...

joss is a lovely thing, and has a fantastic black voice...but her material is just a bit lame imo...

the sisters are not really rocking my boat yet...hope they do comfortably numb or filthy gorgeous...am bit disappointed...

Just occurred to me that Jonathan Ross looks like he's sitting in one of the London Eye "pods". Can you imagine how hot it would be in there if we had the temperatures of 10 days ago?
