fuck me it was odd
and crap I think.
nothing padded out to fill an hour.

I thought that last week but forgot it was on this week. I've not missed much then!

Liked it last week.

This week I said to dh "it's been on for 20 minutes and NOTHING has happened".

Watching people think of things to do for an hour isn't very interesting really, is it?

there were lots of apprentice style shots of Paris.

and that was the come uppance for the evil middle eastern guy

god maybe i DID enjoy it.
Its like a PS design isnt it - seemingly pointless but actually rather fun

i liked the livinh on water bloke, he is the only one i liked but i am doing an art based course and 'some' (not all) of the students are so shallow and they think such ridiculous crap up and they have never lived on their own away from mummy and daddy andf they have never wiped their own arse and it think, it think....ithink, jesus f*cking wept, most of the time

it is their lack of research that annoys me

Ha ha - loved the bit where they were stood in a hotel on top of a museum, spouting jargon and arty cliches about how they impact of the hotel/art installation, then one of them says "how do people impact on the hotel if everything is fixed to the floor?"

And I got flashbacks to being 15 in a Design Communication lesson trying to fashion neat little models of things out of cardboard to try to convey my ideas but it actually looking shite and like something my 5yr old could do

yeah it seems to be one of those regularly repeated programmes, comes up on the iplayer every now and again. i loved the tension of tradition vs innovation in saville row, i would have loved to see more of the actual tailoring but tis always so - the programme makers want the soap opera but i'm the geek that just wants to watch skilled people working.

been weaving since last summer (on and off!). must get back to my loom as i gave away my last teatowel the other day, need to make one for me.

oh I love the tailoring too. Tailoring seems a dying trade in this country unloess you are rich unfortunately. I come from a working cklass background and even my Grandfather used to have handmade tailored suits made. 'A suit for best'

i started very small with toy looms afm - can pick them up for pennies on ebay if you fancy a dabble

how can it be poncey to haver your own loom? the mind boggles

I think if they'd have edited the programme down to 30 mins it would have been pretty good. I love how the up-his-own-arse guy left in episode 2.
