Is TV drama too "middle-class"?

I am torn between asking Gareth if he'd like some gravy on that chip on his shoulder, and agreeing with him about the ridiculous cavernous kitchens.

hardly any independent tv programmes being made though now. lots brought in etc.

personally cannot stand the mc type dramas though we did just have red riding

yes, it is too middle class and I loathe it. I don't really understand who it's appealing to. Anyway, the only decent thing to come on telly this last 5 years is "Low Winter Sun" and that was as working class as it gets.

I hate those farking kitchens too. How come no-one on telly has got a small kitchen?

Actually now you mention it drama is too middle class. But then soaps are very working class.

All news readers are middle class (even the regional accents are the posh kind).
