I'm watching this now and we watched the original program a while ago following her pregnancy.
She now wants her own place and wants to move out of her parents house, her dad has told her he doesn't think she's ready and they have to still teach her things and I wonder whether she would know any more or less about being a mum than I did at 25? This program has put across that she is doing a fantastic job, and it doesn't seem that she is doing any better or worse than any other 1st time mum

Definately! Not letting her and/or baby stay at the boyfriends house? I think Kizzy and her boyf have proven that they are both mature enough to take their relationship in any direction they wish to. The boyf is only 19 and looks to be doing a great job in the father role.
I think that if it was your average 16 year old, you'd obviously have reservations about allowing your daughter to spend a night sleeping over at the boyfriends, but due to the circumstances, Kizzy has shown she is capable of making sensible decisions for herself and her son and as she has been forced to become a grown-up, maybe she should be allowed to act like one

Completely agree. It's not like her boyfriend is just after sex is it - he's so utterly lovely with the baby and clearly in it for the long term.

I watched this and thought what a lovely mum she is, and what a wonderful supportive boyfriend. The whole family are really engaging, and I think the programme showed them as a normal family dealing with an unusual situation. I did really like the angle her parents took on it all- ie as a cautionary tale. I also thought they were wonderful and supportive. What a lucky little baby he is, to be surrounded by such a good family!

Oh, and the only bit I didn't like was the sensationalist title- she actually was nearly 15 when her baby was born, not 13! She must have been very near 14 when she got pregnant.

see, i thought that the fact that she took their advice and held off was really good, actually. she seems like a lovely girl.

I loved this programme for all the reasons you have stated, but I hated the fact that the baby always seemed to be in a chair in front of the telly. I wanted to get him out and play with him!

Apart from that, great family, lovely boyfriend, and very mature mum.

that aside she obviously was a lovely mum and her parents were fabulous. She was so much more grown up than I was at that age.

Horrible to think she got spat at in the street.
