I'll start the ball rolling.

Today as I was clearing up the breakfast before school I started singing along to "Big Barn Farm" much to the amusement of my 3 DC's.

Of course got most of the lyrics wrong but "Hey-Hoo"

Today it was Bob The Builder. 'Can we fix it, hum hum de hum (don't know middle bit).... playing together like go-od friends should...'

I have a theory that it's the first tune of the morning that sticks with me for the rest of the day!

FairyLightsForever · 16/01/2009 15:14

Doodle doo here too, but the one that sticks the most is the Something Special one. DD 21months can regularly be heard saying and trying to sign the last line- (in her words) "peas te me or nae" [proud mummy emoticon]

siriusmew · 16/01/2009 15:22

Bloody Koala Brothers.

"If you're in trouble and you need someone to help you out......."

AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

daizydoo · 16/01/2009 15:51

I quite frequently get theme tunes stuck in my head - it drives me mad. Today its Lazytown - Go, go go...

mumsobusy · 16/01/2009 16:43

Hello Hello how are you? Its good to see you Please tell me your name. (MR TUMBLE) is always on my mind Even DS 3.5 sings it on the street to passerby who turn around and tell us their names ahaha

mrsseanbean · 16/01/2009 19:03

I would sing this to Justin, should I ever be lucky enough to meet him.

wuglet · 16/01/2009 19:19

Not a theme tune but I really miss Hugo Monkey's Funky Jungle Conga...

browntrout · 16/01/2009 19:36

mrsseanbean - i went to cbeebies show a couple of weeks ago and, 2 mins before the start, i went to the bar to get one last quick drink and justin was there, standing at the bar, on his own with no one else around, looking for all the world like a normal human being as opposed to the absolute wonder that he is and i was utterly dumbstruck. what made it worse was id left DD with her dad and she would have simply collapsed with excitement had she been there. i love him. dont fancy him you understand, just love him, slight hi-jack there i realise.....

Picante · 16/01/2009 19:38

Backyardigans. Genius composing going on there.

mrsseanbean · 16/01/2009 19:41

nickytwotimes · 16/01/2009 19:42

Wish I hadn't read this thread - am humming cbeebies tunes again!

FOr me atm, I am mainly singing Big Cook Little Cook, as it is ds's favourite.

Smittals · 16/01/2009 19:59

Bloody Balamory! Which I can't stand - but it's DD's fault, she keeps singing her own version of the lyrics...'Baa Laa Morr Lee, Spiderman A Morrr Lee' Have no idea how she came up with that one...!

MaggsS · 16/01/2009 20:03

I have the morning wiggle song on nickjr in my head ALL the time... 'do a little wiggle, a wiggle and a giggle...' Argghhh!!
DD1 always asks me why I'm singing that and to stop it!

browntrout · 16/01/2009 20:23

he had one of those britney-style mics on and i like to think he was having a quick vod or something before the show. a lady came up carrying her grandson and said, 'oh look, it's mr tumble' and he was lovely to him. did that honking noise and beeped his nose. i did get a very sweet smile from him. i often think it must be quite nice to be justin for a day, he must get so many people telling him how wonderful he is.

MaggsS · 17/01/2009 06:05

I just want to mother him.
I hope he is just as nice in real life and it's not just the TV.
My DD2 loves him in whatever he does and he seems to capture here interest so peace for me

By the way as DD2 was up at 5.30am and I am such a bad mum for putting the TV on, I have just been subjected to the Cbeebies morning song over and over again.

How annoying is that one..........Full of fun and we're ready to play with a wiggle and a giggle the Cbeebies way.

I usually start singing Balamory at work .

Space Pirates, Teletubbies, Something Special, Me Too (the beat the clock song) but for some reason I keep wanting to sing 'got to get to the church on time' instead of 'got to do the job on time' , Postman Pat (old fav though) oh, and the song to the birthday section. Tom loves it as I actually mime it and he thinks i'm singing it, iykwim!

MaggsS · 17/01/2009 06:42

Whatever happened to singing our fav "pop" song? Now it's all Balamory, 64 Zoo Lane, Big Cook Little Cook.

I have all this crap in my head all the time too. Mind you I sometimes like to work out what songs have been ripped off used for inspiration by the various programme makers.
The theme to Kerwizz is Osaka My Favourite Town by SHonen Knife
I've Lost My Smile on Carrie and David's Plop Shop is Lonely THis Christmas by Mud
ANd whoever writes the songs for the Green Balloon club is, I swear the bloke who wrote all the songs for the Electric Blue videos in the 80s.

ExtraFancy · 17/01/2009 11:37

Chuggington

chugga chugga chugga

MaggsS · 17/01/2009 13:02

Chuckle, chuckle vision. Chuckle vision.
I HATE THAT PROGRAMME
I hated it when I was a child, now I hate it even more.
I can't stop singing it ARRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
