I cried when I read the summary of the program on the tv guide. Definitely not a program I want to watch.

mrsout · 11/12/2008 21:10

Its our worst nightmare. Cant watch either.

Milliways · 11/12/2008 21:12

DD is within a few months of James' age & planning her 18th party. This brings back terrible memories.

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 11/12/2008 21:36

some people on here may not remember James

can't watch, sadly. just can't.

pgwithnumber3 · 11/12/2008 21:39

At the time this happened I worked 1 mile from where he was found. A client of ours (I worked in Solicitors) was the last person to see him alive. I have never known anything quite so horrific.

Guadalupe · 11/12/2008 21:40

I saw that in the guide. No way can I watch it either, it doesn't seem long ago at all. Poor woman.

expatinscotland · 11/12/2008 21:42

makes me sad i shouted at DD2 this evening (she just turned 3 yesterday).

but there's only so long i was willing to let her run round naked after her bath when it's freezing cold here AND it was well over half an hour past their bed time.

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 11/12/2008 21:45

She is very very brave

Sorry, I started a thread as haven't seen this one.
I remember it only too well. My brother was the same age as James when he died

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 11/12/2008 21:54

it must be so awful her not knowing if they are living round the corner or in australia

Ponders · 11/12/2008 21:58

There was a long article about her in the mail on the website. She has a new partner, & 3 boys altogether now, but literally refuses to let them out of her sight when they are at home. You can understand it, but it's not good for them, is it, & they can't develop any street smarts, can they?

Will look for it, hang on...

Lizzylou · 11/12/2008 22:00

Gosh no, If I was her I wouldn't either

Ponders · 11/12/2008 22:00

here

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 11/12/2008 22:02

she just expalined about that

I am so pleased for her that she can now see a future with JAMES BULGER HOUSE for Bullied children

Like the RED BALLOONS one in Cambridge

I cried and cried at this programme last night, big stifling sobs. How on earth would you cope day to day after losing your baby in such a terrible way.
I still find it hard to believe that these boys (RT & JV) were just two years older than my eldest is now.

Very sad.

thefortbuilder · 12/12/2008 16:20

i watched the first segment and was just in bits.

DH then came home and made me channel which was probably no bad thing, being selfish

i'm not sure how i would cope with something like that day after day
