Big thanks to all of you that recommended One Tree Hill. Am only watching the first season and am only halfway through (although all the trailers for the current season are spoiling it for me slightly...) but am really enjoying it.

I love a bit of teen angst once dd has gone to bed. Although the ironing still isn't getting done...

Wear crumpled clothes forever and just enjoy!!!!

I use my 'me time' to watch OTH, GG, etc etc, how sad is that!

I have never watched this and I WILL NOT BE SUCKED IN

however I get what you say about teen angst

I watched all four series of the OC last year when I was chronically ill and very good they were too

also I tape Smallville to watch whilst ironing

so there's an idea

it's not like the plots take a whole lot of concentration - I haven't burnt anything yet

Well my dh has 11, yes count em, 11 episodes of The Bill to watch on Sky +. So he can't complain about my teenage drama habit, now can he!!

Ooo, what's smallville like? There is a void in my viewing schedule now Gossip Girl has finished.

I'm 30, we really are old enough to know better aren't we. Will try and cut back (as soon as I've finished watching High School Musical with dd1 )

Yay! Seriously, I cannot wait. But she's only 14mo so a while to go yet.

I think I will have to take dd1 to ciema to see HSM3 when it comes out, as a special treat for her of course!

Oh yes, I would think so. It's so important for mums and daughters to do things together, IMHO.

Mums and daughters would probably like Gilmore Girls - currently running on E4 in the mornings - I've only just found it - but it is very good and mighty funny - and for all those enjoying OTH - it does have "Lucas" in it - it also has the guy who plays Peter Petrelli in Heroes and the gorgeous Jared from Supernatural - covers all bases IMO

Ooooh, will make a mental note once I get through with OTH.
