Just seen the formal warning for Pauline. What the fuck! That was full on aggression

And she really didn't want to accept it

movingcrisis · 07/10/2026 21:38

Apparently Rochelle has also had a formal warning but it wasn’t broadcast

Oh how do you know then?
What incident was it for?

B9waiting · Yesterday 00:03

Why would they not broadcast Rochelle getting a warning? Also, why was there no video / audio of Pauline as an option in the library?

Rob - yuck! Keep your clothes on & stop talking to yourself so that we can hear!! Also, his singing is awful - it would be annoying if he were good but as it’s bloody terrible, it must be hell to live with. I would love both Pauline & Rob to go but gave most votes to Pauline for her aggression!

Sam is coming across as nasty.

Dean McCulloch on TGC is giving out about Philip not educating people on trans issues. I like Dean but totally disagree with him on this!

FreeTheOakTree · Yesterday 05:59

I would have liked the audio between Pauline and Johanna to have been an option in the library, but I imagine BB didn't want to escalate things between Pauline and Rochelle any further.

Rob talking about twirking while in his pants, was icky to watch. He is so obvious and deluded but clearly thinks it will garner fans - and even talent scouts 😂

I don't like Twix. She can refer to herself as a witch but then can't understand why someone would call her a twat. I think she is a wily one and I am not buying what she is selling.

I can't stand Sam and Frankie. Rochelle and Phillip are my top 2

🙄 If this were the case many would be tuning out.

purpleme12 · Yesterday 06:46

Why would Philip be educating people on trans issues anyway?

vjg13 · Yesterday 06:54

Pauline doing her hard stare in the diary room after receiving a warning was hilarious and ridiculous!

That did confuse me tbh.

Though it's also no one's role in the house to educate other housemates on anything.

Agreed. I’m no fan of Philip but that’s a whole load of inappropriate responsibility to put on one person’s shoulders. Philip is a gay man, that’s his lived experience. Not trans. Philip isn’t required to educate anyone on anything - he’s not a teacher.

I completely agree - Dean admitted it was polarising as he’s a gay man who thinks Philip should have taken the opportunity to educate when the conversation was happening and not just walk away but then admitted the first comment on his socials when he said that was from another gay man who said it’s not Phillip’s issue and was right not to comment. Dean then said he was disappointed in Phillip as an older gay man.

What is Lynx up to these days? He’s barely been seen since Chelsey went?

Lynx is very quiet I agree. When he talks he tends to make sense so I like him for that. But probably is being too quiet to win.

JasmineMac · Yesterday 08:11

Pauline not accepting any responsibility for her temper, then staring and refusing to answer twice when the unacceptable nature of it was pointed out to her, is bad. Staring like that is just menacing. She's a carer, so you'd expect empathy and patience to be second nature to her.
I really don't like her, and I hope she's evicted tomorrow.

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · Yesterday 08:24

Am I the only one who likes Rob, the comments about his appearance are nasty and uncalled for.

Ohcrap082024 · Yesterday 08:24

What I see with Pauline and the silence isn’t arrogance nor aggression. It’s a “I don’t agree with this, I don’t know what to say so I will say nothing. That way, my words can not be misinterpreted”.

Yes, she is a carer. But for her mum. Hundreds of thousands of people (usually women) do the same and it is rarely a 100% free choice. For many of us, it’s a role we take because we feel we have to out of love and because the other options can be pretty dire.

Carer burn out is a real thing and I see it in Pauline. The inability to sit comfortably with her own emotions because she has put them aside for so long. The frustration sitting just under the surface at all times which then leads to a quick temper. I think she’s quite lost in there and that’s why she latched on to Johanne. I do hope that Pauline gets the help she needs when she comes out.

therockingbird · Yesterday 09:26

Lynx is hovering above the weeds 😆 I’m actually warming to him! His outburst with Jedward was out of order but since Chelsey left he’s kept to his cooking and kept his head down.

you may well be the only one who likes Rob.

Though I agree it's unkind to focus on things he can't help like spots rather than the things he can help like his awful and non amusing singing.

I agree with this. Sadly, she is playing into the stereotyped perception of an aggressive Black woman. Her ‘ Camo-Queen’ choice of fashion and her learned hard stare defensiveness also does not help her. So in addition to being antagonised by Revolting Rochelle, she is also a victim of unconscious bias.

Edited

If anyone is a victim of bias, it's Rochelle. And I don't even like Rochelle (though she at least owns up to her shitty behaviour)!

Assuming prejudice is not only boring, it's harmful. Because how is a person meant to grow if they never take personal responsibility for their own actions, when it's always someone else's fault due to pre-existing prejudice? It's a cop out. Pauline isn't defensive, she's childish and petulant. She thinks she's owed just for showing up, which is why she's handling nominations with such poor grace.

And on the subject of grace, she keeps telling people she's affording them grace, when she isn't. If you're genuinely showing grace, there's no requirement to tell people you're doing it.

Various sources suggesting G Collins goes in on Friday. Can't stand her myself but interested to see what effect it will have on this unsettled house

Oooookaaaaay.

Everyone is entitled to a bonkers opinion. My considered opinion is that Revolting and very privileged privately educated Rochelle is certainly no 'victim' - of anything.

WallaceinAnderland · Yesterday 13:18

Rochelle seems to thrive on having a target. She gets someone in her sights and then won't let go. She actually goes looking for confrontation, she said so herself to Philip. This is why drama follows her, she actually carries it with her. Joanne is out so on to the next victim.

None of the other housemates behave like this. They moan and bitch about each other but they don't have a personal vendetta against someone in the same way that Rochelle does.

She was determined not to like either of the new housemates and determined not to speak to them or even look at them or acknowledge their presence. She was angry at them for just walking through the door! But since Rochelle was able to use Catrin's minor tiff with Pauline as an excuse to bait Pauline, she is now willing to accept Catrin for the time being. As long as Catrin is her useful puppet.

I'm not surprised she's been like this with school parents. She will be like this with everyone. She is momentarily happy when her confrontations 'win', like how she celebrated 'winning' on eviction night but it's short lived. People like her never truly find happiness because they can't be happy for other people, instead they feel envious and threatened. It all comes from low self esteem.

Remember when BB used to have the psychologists on the after show. It would be great to bring them back again. The whole idea of the show is that it's an experiment to see how humans interact in a stressful environment. No one is immune.

B9waiting · Yesterday 14:27

I’d love the psychologists to be back also - BBLB was a perfect show & would love it to be back!

What is the, and please be explicit, nature of Rochelle's unconscious bias towards Pauline?
