Ride or Die on Prime Video

I’m four episodes in and loving it. Great chemistry between the two leads, fun female-focused storytelling, some great action scenes and genuinely laugh out loud funny at points between spy tropes.

It’s fluff but it’s well-made, fun fluff and will keep me happy until Ted Lasso drops.

Is anyone else watching?

Enjoying it after being a bit unsure at the splashy beginning. I don’t like the bit where characters get introduced and have to be massively over the top, but it’s good now. A nice relief after the stress of Widows Bay!

It’s settled down a bit now they are doing more fighting. The cop is good - calmer than most

I'm 3 episodes in. Hannah looks fabulous and is really charismatic. Coming down the stairs in her black dress in episode 1 was a gasp out loud moment. Octavia is growing on me. Liking the focus on female friendship

It's so utterly daft though. It's fun but I wouldn't say I love it. I like dark gritty stuff usually, I'm hard to please 😁

I preferred Ponies, at least until it went bonkers chasing a second series, which it then didn’t get. But this is ok.

Sorry to rehash an old thread but I am gutted this isn’t being renewed for Season 2

I know, really disappointing and surprising given how well it was received. Have seen a few posts on IG about how this is a sign of the misogyny in the entertainment industry, and how the men in charge clearly couldn't cope with a show where the 2 main characters were women in their 50s, and where their platonic friendship was a major storyline

otoh it is good to quit while you are ahead.
