I don't mind Jack Draper. But there was many other players available. So far, it feels like Gigi and her mates are being paid extra for every time they say Jack's name and big up his match. .

Jelena has had to retire

It was really tough to watch. I want to believe it was just frustration at not playing as well as he wanted, but it seems likely he was feeling pain. He looked great in set 2 but then his serve really dropped off a cliff.

Hard won first set for Lore, won on the tie break in an hour and 20 minutes.
Not going Stef's way against Fonseca either- that was a close first set, but he's a break down in the second, 1-3.

Sorry Gigi but I can’t get excited about it almost being Cam Norrie time on the Cam Norrie court

More straightforward set for Lore in the second , so far.

Well done Tallon. He looks awful and has dark circles under his eyes! Sascha seemed to not have much energy either.

I haven't been able to watch much of the tennis in Canada, it seems like there might be another surprise winner on the men's side. It's a shame Felix had to pull out with an injury, it seemed like a great opportunity for him to win a big title at home.

It is a shame about Felix not being able to play - a few other Canadian men have had to retire through injury as well

I thought that Coco Gauff didn’t look well either Jane - hopefully it’s not a bug going round - tennis is just relentless so they’re probably all knackered!

Having a tennis marathon tonight, Arthur Fils looked really up for it, and Norrie De Minaur loojs like it will be close.

The Cam/ADM match was very up and down! I watched a bit of it - when I turned on Cam was 4-1 up on the first set but then ADM won that set. I didn’t watch much after that but seems that Cam came back to win from being match point down! Wish I had stayed up to watch.
