I've just seen tomorrow's order of play.
Men's doubles at 1pm. Ladies singles at 4pm. Is that new this year or did they introduce the change last year?

Who was the mumbling commentator for the BBC ?
Not Andrew Castle who we all know. Whoever it was their mumbling got on my nerves.

I did wonder if it was him. Yes he will know what he is talking about. But there are additional qualifications to make you a good commentator.
Mumbling with no inflection is not good. Dreadful.

I have a vague feeling they changed it last year (?) and we questioned it then. It seems really late.

I feel like it is tailored to the US market- since first matches at NY tournaments are usually 4pm, so it's a reasonable time for them.(and not the middle of the night).

I was surprised that the women’s final was 4pm but it might have changed last year - that means I will miss it - I was expecting a 2pm start

Bonkers that they're starting the men's final at 4. So many changes in the last few years, not all for the better by any means.

I don't find him mumbly - mumbly is Sue Thearle - but I like listening to him, and find him knowledgeable, rather than listening to the witterings of AC- however loud he is .

I think the women's doubles is at 1pm on Sunday- and the men's final at 4pm. So closer to 4.30 by thr time they have talked a bit ,and faffed around.

I saw that Sue was doing radio commentary during Wimbledon at least when she’s on tv you can see what’s happening for yourself!
