Great bit of acting from the young lad who plays Kyle again tonight.

Perhaps he could give Vanessa a few lessons.

Some great father and son bonding in this episode. Shame we have to listen to Gabby going on and on about clean eating🙄

Occasionally would be enough but it's every bloody scene she's in.

I'm reluctant to condemn the Gabby storyline since I'm always saying that they should do more with the permanent village characters rather than bringing in weird strangers or unfeasible disasters or serial killers.

Thinking about it, Gabby could become a quite interesting character if they develop her properly. Always unlucky in love and finishing up appearing foolish etc.

Did I miss Graham single handedly lift that log off from Cain and free him ??

I was hoping for some Herculean moment from Graham .

It fell a bit flat really as after leaving us all night worrying about him !!

It did worry me when Gabby said she would cook for her and Thomas rather than them having the spag boll, I do think Dawn would make a great spag boll.

I wonder what she’s feeding him if she can’t cope with a bit of dressing

Oh it’ll probably start out as an eating disorder story and end up with Thomas shoving her down the stairs because he’s delirious with hunger which we’ll only find out after Dawn has been arrested (and given birth while she’s on remand) because someone will tell the police that she was jealous of Gabby and Billy.

Steve is Jason Done who played Stephen Snow in Where the heart is after taking over the role from William Ash who is of course Caleb!

I loved Where The Heart Is. Brenda was also in it

ITV3 should repeat it again, lovely and gentle

Sam Giles who played Berniece was in it too! So was Tony Haygarth who played Vic Snow - he is in Classic Emmerdale at the moment.

Another fun fact - The Cardigans first Album was called Emmerdale because the band used to watch it in Sweden and loved it! In Sweden it is called Hem till gården (Home to the Farm).

Of course, how could I forget Bernice and Vic Snow! I loved it because of the sense of community but I did think it went downhill a bit when Sarah Lancashire left because she worked together so well with Pam Ferris but still nice to watch

Where the Heart is can be watched on ITV player I watched it all earlier in the year

I don’t want more newbies chucked in !
The ones that were killed off and didn’t want to go must be annoyed as no budget for them and cuts made but they can find £ for new ones.
I know things evolve but just flinging randoms in doesn’t work.
Will didn’t want to leave I remember seeing a post by him.
They should have kept him.

Why don't they take any notice of what the viewers like/want.

We hated She who must not be named and her dragged out story but what do they do - bring us John, another stupid serial killer story in a tiny village.

Their view is ..there is no where for the character to go !
Which was complete boll*ks !
There was loads to explore with Amy and Matty and the adoption story .

Now we just just have Matty wandering around without a purpose .

No offense , but we don't need another female coming in and potentially having a relationship with Matty and all that that entails .

Amy and Matty were lovely 😍 together .

That really annoys me too bizzey. The writers might as well say “I’ve got no imagination”. Emmerdale is going to end up like Summer Bay with transient characters and a few old stalwarts for continuity purposes. Sad.
