I actually thought Charity’s explanation of why she was so vile to Ryan was really very sad and thought provoking - I wouldn’t have made the connection between this trauma bringing up the feelings it did. It will make even more sense to him once he finds out the truth of what Charity has actually gone through.

Serena overload again tonight. I was wondering how she managed to get a job in the pub so quickly.

I don't mind Serena as such. She's not as annoying as some of the randoms before her. BUT it's bloody pissing me off that she talks of seeing John over the years at family occasions. Utter bullshit! Serena is a very very distant relative who is now Robert’s cousin even though her grandad was Jacks cousin, Lewis isn’t kidnapped anymore but it was a very funny scene with the Rick making an appearance a few episodes ago if you want to watch that and giggle about the rock and Penny. In the flash forward, yes she did seem to be dead but who really knows

Considering the amount of maniacs that have frequented the village , nobody seems bothered that Serena is behind the bar ,, plus she know John which is creepy enough

Yeah Mackenzie is actually just brilliant at the moment. The scenes with him and Charity are so believable and raw. I'm still half waiting for him to say he cheated first or maybe he realises that deep down and now knows how much he hurt Charity as he's in do much pain himself.
