This tournament has absolutely set the sport’s men’s section on fire and it’s been much-needed, I think.
After Alcaraz being out with injury it was just assumed Sinner would win it. He goes, over to Djokovic.
Now it’s all to play for and we are seeing some blistering matches and remarkable play from established names and newer faces.
As much as I love a rivalry, it’s great to cast the net wider.
I am really looking forward to the weekend’s matches and next week’s.
What I’ve seen, I think, are some real champion behaviours. That never-say-die attitude that has felt a bit off at times.
For some of the more senior players this is their chance at this title.
For young pretenders? A chance to make history.
