"Let the song begin with passion, Let the wind begin to blow, You can break the rules of fashion, And your chance to win shall grow."

"Look into the TV camera, So the audience can see, That you're loveable, not desperate, Smile and they will vote for me."

Well we haven't got old women baking bread or a man in a hamster wheel. The only way we have a burning piano is if the Serbian's set fire to the set (again) and torch Delta's piano. And sadly there is no Russian skater as they are currently still banned.

There WILL however be snow, lots of fire, wind machines, stage risers, much leather, women dressed in white, silly costumes and dances, dodgy moustaches, songs about love and peace, traditional folk instruments and violins. Many violins.

Non participating countries (Hello Ireland) can vote as part the Rest of The World. Late joining this year and not seen any of the previous. It feels a bit of a substandard year so far or maybe tis just me.

Someone needs to take the Bulgarian girl to Rigby and Peller for a fitting.
UK awful as usual - is it true he was a late stand in?

The app and website both tell me I need a credit card and to pay to vote this year? Is that new? I don’t remember paying to vote online/via app last time.

Fast800goingforit · 16/05/2026 21:25

Look Mum No Computer = Howard Jones for Gen Z

SwedishEdith · 16/05/2026 21:25

The boy did good. Gave it his all. No flat notes (or not too obvious, if there were). Hold your head up high, Sam.

BeeHive909 · 16/05/2026 21:25

He looks like a German version of jedward 🤣🤣. Catchy for the uk

daffodilandtulip · 16/05/2026 21:24

Why’s the English one the one I’m struggling to understand?

😂😂

columnatedruinsdomino · 16/05/2026 21:25

Yes! I feel like we’ve ‘got’ Eurovision at last!

Temu Kraftwerk

Better than the waft-twerk that's been on a lot this eve

SabrinaThwaite · 16/05/2026 21:25

Eatinpeachesonthebeaches · 16/05/2026 21:24

Nod to Tom Bailey of Thompson Twins in Sam's costume. Or Howard Jones.

And Thomas Dolby.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 16/05/2026 21:25

Mine too

MrsJLevinson · 16/05/2026 21:25

DanFmDorking · 16/05/2026 21:25

CJFJ1 · 16/05/2026 21:26

Nul points for the UK then.

She’d be useless as a familiar - wouldn’t go anywhere near a bat or a toad or a newt. Ewww!

She’s got sense then. My previous cats caught frogs. Current one can’t be arsed.

Binglebong · 16/05/2026 21:26

Good voice
Boring song.

Every year DH & I say we’re not going to watch then we always do. It’s strange that the UK entry hasn’t been played much (or at least I haven’t heard it much) as last year’s was everywhere! I don’t think we’ll do very well.

I think that you'll find that it hasn't been played much because it's utter crap!

RedToothBrush · 16/05/2026 21:26

Much better performance than the semi. Crowd were good too.

RedRiverShore6 · 16/05/2026 21:26

Ours was better than a lot of them, though that's not saying much

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 16/05/2026 21:26

I quite like the French frog one

BurntBroccoli · 16/05/2026 21:26

AlwaysRightISwear · 16/05/2026 21:26

France has impressive vocals but the song is not great.

PrincessScarlett · 16/05/2026 21:26

Only 17. So young.

RobynRB · 16/05/2026 21:27

First one I've thought about muting

daffodilandtulip · 16/05/2026 21:27

Going for Les Mis on this one?

CrushingOnRubies · 16/05/2026 21:27

See Uk might stand out more in memories over say this French woman where’s there’s quite a few female soloists

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 16/05/2026 21:27

Wow her voice though

Binglebong · 16/05/2026 21:27

Operatic wailing is in this year.
