MAFSAUS THE FINALE. Once again, we have done it. Just like David, we have found our voices. Just like Danny, we fought in the trenches. Just like Scott, our pets have been freed of the mental abuse that is MAFSAUS. Until next time. Farewell!

Not that I particularly want to defend Steven, but the ixperts really could have spared Rachel the heartbreak if they'd put Steven on the spot weeks ago when he couldn't even bring himself to kiss her during the whole Love Actually/blind fold thing. Instead, they basically told him to ignore his feelings and just do it anyway.

thenightsky · 14/05/2026 09:24

I don't get why everyone is looking so shocked at Steve finally saying 'no'.

Villanousvillans · 14/05/2026 09:40

I’m not shocked. I knew he wasn’t into her.

dotdotdotdash · 14/05/2026 10:09

I'm catching up and enjoying your hilarious commentary. Thanks all.

I laughed when they were all on at Stevo to just be honest saying 'just say it'. Baby Farmer said 'and quickly' 😂obviously sick of Racho and Stevo going round and round in circles. And yes, no tears from Rach, just grimacing.

Gia has definitely had more work on her nose. Maybe she caught wind of our threads and realised it looked like a cock and balls 🤔

Then Pob tells Gia and Scott their relationship wasn't a failure. It clearly was Paul, are you mad?

As for Tyson, he is good looking physically but his loathsome personality shines through; repulsive!

I don’t know about you but it was all there in his body language. You don’t go from not fancying someone to full on wanting to be together I’m afraid. Same goes for Danny. Both women knew it deep down. Both were always the first to kiss or ask for a kiss. Both heard what they wanted to hear instead of what was glaringly obvious to everyone else.

Yep, the women must have known, but made it really difficult for the men because of the histrionics

Phelicity · 14/05/2026 11:36

Every episode is padded out with so many recaps….

ruethewhirl · 14/05/2026 12:01

Catching up on last night's atm. OMG, Gia's lips... why do people do that to themselves and think it actually looks good?!

ruethewhirl · 14/05/2026 12:12

Tyson is making me angry all over again watching this back. All this crap about 'masculine energy' - it's called confidence, you silly little boy. He so obviously wanted a shy, biddable little thing who'd shuffle up the aisle blushing with downcast eyes, and was taken aback to see a confident woman meeting him head on. (Personally I think the red lipstick scared him too...) Good on Stephanie (much as I think some of her views are a joke too) for not letting herself be cowed.

browneyes77 · 13/05/2026 20:59

Tyson: “Wasn’t so bad was it?”

Everyone in that room: 😮😮😮😮😮😮

That made me laugh so hard

Annoyed me a bit they made a big deal out of Steves behaviour but nothing much out of Gias.

I think the only thing Steve was guilty of, was not being able to say he didn’t fancy Rachel. And I think that’s half his issue for not having the sophistication to handle it, and half her’s because she was going to react as she did on the couch - no one wants me, wah wah wah..

Did they ever DTD? I suspect that was the block.

I am glad Gia has finally accepted her behaviour is bad.
Did she though? Or did she just say what she thought people wanted her to say because she had no other choice/ way to deflect.

I've said it a lot on here, I am a terrible judge of character!

I am very positive and like to believe the best of people.

So in that moment I thought she was embarrassed and did admit it was bad.

But who knows!

Italiangreyhound · 14/05/2026 13:46

Steven and Danny both strung their partners along. I am not sure why Steven gets off so lightly.

I think not, as I do believe he never intentionally wanted to hurt her (even though he ended up doing so through his weakness) and knew that would be unforgivable.

I think it is because he has come across as a bit of a sap, ie not offensive/hasn't said anything horrific so mildness is ignored...

I agree. I dont think Steve is a bad guy. Just 1 he was not attracted to Rachel and 2 he is bad at relationships.

Enko · 14/05/2026 14:21

I do hope tonight they're not going to preassure David into apologising to Alyssa. She never apologised for talking over him all the time..

I doubt it. I think we'd have heard all about it if they had...

Think of all the todo there was over a bit of fingering.

I don't think they will. I think their edit has favoured David and their best bits montage will show her behaving like a brat and throwing her ring at him.

Wouldn't surprise me if the unseen footage is her.

InertBird · 14/05/2026 15:17

I've come to the conclusion Alyssa is even more horrible than Gia. I hope she gets her comeuppance tonight (or at least a harsh talking to)

Ophir · 14/05/2026 15:58

I think it will be Danny and Stephanie

murasaki · 14/05/2026 16:06

But they know about the photos, which happened after the show. And she said to camera she wasn't interested. And any footage even if they did get it on would be post show so not on camera. So I don't think it can be unseen footage of them.

hellomylov3 · 14/05/2026 16:10

Tyson is despicable. I don't think he's at all good looking. He actually looks cross eyed or something. But it's his ugly personality that really makes him unattractive.

Was Alyssa trying to look like a mermaid at the dinner party? Her hair looked half soaked and the outfit sort of matched that vibe 🧜‍♂️

I feel a bit sorry for Steve, he probably thought Rachel would get the hint eventually. He seems like a nice guy who didnt want to hurt her feelings. He may have thought that his feelings would grow or hoped that they would just fade out slowly as a couple.

Danny and Bec would never work. She's too volatile and he likes to wind people up. I think he did lead her on by saying he was falling in love etc just to get laid on tap.

I really like Scott, glad he has found a new gf.

I think Alissa is underhand and sly. At least Gia is openly a bitch. If I knew them I’d trust Gia more, I think.
