Gosh it's almost June already!

Season 13 will apparently have a World Cup theme - trying to recapture the magic of 2018 maybe?

I've heard there will also be more games as well, for fans of those.

I'm wondering how it's working logistically, with Iain being in Majorca (possibly is working from home this year), with a tiny brand new baby 👶

I think George is going to make a move with Mica at some point and will face the dramatic reaction from Robyn.

Agree that the producers had the twist as a back up for dealing with the 'wrong' choice. I'm intrigued and have no clue as to what it might involve!

Evening! Have been lurking as I had 2 to catch up on tonight. Iain has joked a few times the last few years (but I don’t think he’s joking) about him just doing it in the spare room at home once he receives the edits. I suppose it doesn’t really make any difference to us. I know it’s been said before and I know Iain is part of the furniture but I’d give anything for Rob Beckett to replace him. I can’t believe what he gets away with saying on Celebs go dating. It’s eye watering!

George is such a player and I wouldn’t trust him for a second. I think they like him as others have said because he has good ‘banter’, is super confident and rates himself. I think in person that probably makes them more drawn to. He pretends he’s a nice guy but he doesn’t give a fuck. He’s there for the drama. A lot more drama than playing for Dorking FC I’m sure! I think he makes for good TV that’s for sure and Robyn won’t last long - that said I think she’ll bounce back pretty quickly and be off with someone else.

He does it from a studio he has at home. They built it during covid - no idea what it’s like but the way he speaks about it makes it sound like a tiny little cupboard that he just about fits into!

But when he was on Sunday Brunch, he said he films in Majorca, as it means that he and the other writers can sit and watch clips together and come up with the commentary together 🤔
I'm sure I read, when they had the first baby, they were all in Majorca to stay together. But logistically might be a bit more difficult this time

I wonder if the twist will be they go into the other villa with a couple or 4 more bombshells for a day or so, then they all go back in the main villa. Im sure last year the house got really busy with loads of islanders for a few weeks before the first dumping.

This twist is proof that the show is dying imo 🥺, just trying to be interesting

I agree. I was in two minds to continue watching it only a couple of days in and ive never thought that before this early.

I cant suffer through another dire season that now has the air of big brother 😫

The cliff hangers and filler is just so annoying too. Like dont waste my time. I feel like watching Love Island is a big commitment over the summer. Im going to give it a couple more days then decide if i can bear to continue.

At the moment, I’m happy to watch LI at 9pm as it is cold of an evening this week. But I am dipping in and out because it has been a bit of a slow start. I’ll probably give it another 3-4 episodes but probably only have it on when doing the ironing etc. it’s a bit meh.

I've not watched LI since Gemma Owen's series but I decided to give it another go this year. I didn't think I'd make it past the first episode but here I am and enjoying it. 😂

Although nothing will ever live up to the first three series with the smoking and drinking and swearing and sex 👀

I can't watch live as it's always right in the middle of getting the kids to bed. I fast forward the adverts, I'd definitely find it more tedious if I didn't. I became really frustrated with the all stars series earlier this year mainly due to them being so obviously there to gain more followers and chase brand deals. I gave up for a while and then picked it up again a bit later into the series as folk were commenting that it was getting more interesting! The cast this season have potential to generate some drama, a lot of them have normal jobs at least.

Yeah spoilers are fine as they just become too hard to avoid x
