They showed unseen footage of her and Danny the next morning, and she apologised and (as I recall) he somehow manipulated it so she was the one who had ruined a lovely day by kicking off. Personally, I thought his comment about her cousin was the thing that was out of order, and part of his usual deflection and avoidance about actually being honest about his feelings. On some level Bec realises that he's not into her but she allows herself to be reassured by him because she's so desperate for it to be true, and then he blames her for her insecurity. That was my take on it anyway; would be interested to see what others thought. The male interviewer on ATDP seemed to be more sympathetic to Danny (while holding him to account for not having voiced his concerns about being Bec's 'bitch' if moving in to her house...🙄).
