I stopped watching for a while around the time the whole (ridiculous) Jacob and Victoria thing came out. Is David supposed to be in contact with Jacob? Or was it a sort of “I forgive you, but can’t be around you” departure?

I can't remember any nice characters for a while. Even Kammy who's nice now was a car stealing idiot when he arrived.

You could see the blackmailing coming a mile off - probably won't be resolved until Christmas.
