Not much has changed since the start of the last thread - only been about 4 weeks since the last one was started.. So...... Following on from the last thread...

Carl hasn't been in it much this past few weeks, but still, no-one seems to be able to take him down. He's done so many bad things!

Mal is still dreadful.... and has just been beaten up by Kit (and tried to blame Dev,) but I think his game is up now Daniel heard him laying into Bernie (who he's been stalking!) Hopefully the stalking story is over, and Mal can leave!

Ma Driscoll was horrendous - but she is less horrendous I think. (Growing on me a bit.) Kit is still fit. Ronnie and Kevin's new double act hasn't advanced much 😆 (I was enjoying their bad cop/bad cop routine too.) Jim McDonald died recently, and it emerges that Ma Driscoll had a bit of a thing with him many years ago, when she had her son Ben! 👀

Debbie is still in prison. Not seeing much of her at the moment. Hopefully we see more of her soon!

Hope is still cheeky as ever.

Big story at the moment is Todd and Theo have just got married. They split up for a few weeks after Todd had just had enough of him, but Theo concocted a plan to make Todd miss a race he had been training for, and got back into Todd's head (and bed!) Then Theo railroaded Todd into a 'surprise' wedding, as he hadn't cancelled the booking at the Registry Office. Theo is really cruel and abusive to Todd, and poor Todd is just so beaten down by it all. Hopefully this storyline comes to a close too, because it's horrible watching Todd suffer, and also frustrating!

We also have Shona's sister Jodie popping up every 5 minutes, just working in the cafe, and offering her babysitting, and giving long lingering looks to David. And Tyrone who had been hit by a car that Carl was driving seems to be walking all of a sudden after spending the last few months in a wheelchair. Oh, and a baby has been dropped off at Carla and Lisa's home by a woman claiming it's the baby of the prison guard Carla's brother Rob was sleeping with. They just took her and are looking after her now - obviously. 😆

Mucky pervy Megan Trainer has been arrested for having a 'relationship' with one of her pupils, (Will Driscoll,) but Will is denying anything happened, so will they be able to do anything? Toyah, Eva, and Leanne have joined forces to try and bring her down. Especially as she has been blackmailing and bullying young Sam - Nick's son - as he can see her for what she is!

How low was that fence between the 2 back gardens when David and Jodie were talking? It was about 2 feet high. Who has a back garden fence that low?!

OMG, that behaviour from Debbie! Must be part of the dementia. I felt so sorry for her when she was ringing the lady and saying she was sorry. It's like she realised what she'd done and said. Must all be so confusing for her. 😞

So it looks like Will didn't threaten Sam over the phone. He seemed genuinely confused when Sam accused him of phoning him and threatening him. Also, it seems like Sam was imagining Will running after him in the street, saying 'hey, come here!'

The scenes between Amy and Ollie and Lauren were odd. Why was Lauren all weird and salty with Amy? And I would still love to know when Ollie and Lauren finished, and Ollie decided to start seeing Amy again!

When others realise what’s up with Sam they may believe the whole Megan & Will story was a figment of his imagination too.

@SabreIsMyFave Lauren is ridiculously jealous of Amy being with Ollie. And Lauren is ridiculous full stop. She is insolent and lazy yet she still hasn't been fired!

I felt for Debbie today and the other women who didn’t realize why she was like it. I felt so sorry for her.
I kept hissing at Ryan to just gently take her away from the situation, but he didn’t.

Yeah, I think Ryan did try at one point, (to take Debbie away) but not hard enough.......

Ryan should have been a bit more assertive there.

Lauren should be in college with Frankeh in a nursery on campus making something of her life. Surely Daniel could have organised that for her with a couple of phone calls from Roys.

I think even Will was doing some shifts collecting glasses or something

Who in their right mind would employ a rude lazy person with attitude like Lauren IRL she’d be sacked by now. What exactly does Ben do? All he does is prop up the bar drinking his profits away! Oh lord we now have delulu Sam in our midst. He’ll be sectioned in no time and the case against MT will be dropped !

Does Glenda not still work there too?

Lauren is such a bad actress, all over exaggerating and pouting.

I think Lauren is actually a really good actress - as shown by her scenes with Joel. Unfortunately she has now been directed to act like stroppy, insolent teen type character, which is not her fault really.

In my opinion she over acts and her mouth annoys me. She could look so lovely with better hair and make up. I'd love to see her as she is in her real life.

Lauren is like another Nina now, it's a shame because they've had really big storylines which they both acted really well in.

I'm not sure about Nina's acting range but Lauren could be really good if they gave her something to do than a case of the mardy strops. No one in their right mind would employ Lauren, and Ma Driscoll would have her out of the door within ten minutes.

I thought the scenes with Debbie were quite good, although Tracey wouldn't have let that scene run on, she'd have taken some action earlier.

Does Tracey and the other lady know about Debbie’s diagnosis?

Yes, everyone does. Debbie said Tracey had told the clients about it afterwards "but at least they didn't tell them I've been in prison for killing a vicar".

I agree. Also, during almost every episode, either Ben or Maggie gives someone a drink 'on the house.' 🙄 In over 40 years of going in pubs, I have never EVER been given a drink 'on the house,' not even on my birthday!
