Wait did Mark ask Phil for the money? And he said no? Then again Grant is his daddy. Wonder how much contact he’s had with Mark over the years! He’d get ripped to pieces on here (Grant). For being a deadbeat dad and prob not paying maintenance. Grant owes Mark £100K at least but will he pay it?!

I do like Cindy! Always have done. Dunno why. She’s likeable in some strange way despite her behaviour! Or maybe that’s me being too forgiving! 🤣😱

Ross Kemp on the one show yesterday said he had to pogo around at one point , so I bet your right 70s! It’ll be a flashback of some kind and Nigel is dreaming. The state he was in , I doubt he could face a long journey in a car or it isn’t a good idea anyway! Even if they kidnap him out of his room.

Even Louie didn’t look convinced that he was the blackmailer at one point. I hope it was only done for money for Jimmy and they don’t turn him into a Kray.
I also like Cindy , the actress was upset she was written out of it ages ago, so I do feel she always wanted back in and we have all lived with the ‘ dead, not dead’ storyline now it almost feels real. Same with Kathy too.
Cindy and max grow close again next week, but it probably won’t last.

@70isaLimitNotaTarget I like it! And you are probably right because as 80s said, Nigel does not look fit for running around on a beach!

I like the Cindy and Max pair up, they would never work as a couple but I like them sparring.

Loved the photo of Sam with her brothers I saw online. The new producer likes to reunite the oldies doesn’t he.
Grant came back last year and Phil wasn’t that friendly with him.

Soooooo glad to have found this thread. I don’t have enough people to talk to about Eastenders and I absolutely love it so much 🥲 I’m a bit upset as to how far downhill it’s gone with the new producers and writers but I’m trying to trust the process.

My main irk is how they’re destroying characters that we’ve loved for so long, ruining their character development and making things not make sense due to that.

Glad Max is back, missed him so much.

They could get rid of Zoe, my son and my daughter like they did mini mo and Anthony. They just all annoy me lol I’ll try catch up with the full thread today.

80s at least there seems to be a point in reuniting the Mitchells for Nigel's death, there was really no point in bringing Chrissie back!

I didn’t mind seeing Chrissie for the 40th in prison and with Jake , but the Christmas one was ridiculous and her singing in the pub and those big gloves ! It made little sense , but then the Jasmine storyline made little sense all round and was tedious.

Yes I agree, the first Chrissie return was okay, but we didn't need her back again with Jasmine which really made no sense!

Totally agreed here. Think some actors are scared off returning eg Tanya. And I can see why. Can you imagine her rocking up to the square?! Max’s face!

My theory is that Jasmines original storyline was to do with Cindy, but then the new people took over, didn’t like it and decided to change it hoping none of us would bat an eyelid but we’re all a bit like “huh?”

I didn’t like Eddie at all. Why is he back ? Can’t be good news.

Why on earth!? Is Eddie back. Hopefully to die. As for Sharon, I’d love for her to just come back and stay back but we can only assume it’s personal reasons for Leticia.

One thing I will say though.. of all the restaurants that restaurant has been, it’s the first one I’ve actually fancied trying 😅 they had me at “Kelewele” 😍 I love plantain and it sounds delicious!

At least it says it's a short stint.
