That was the inconsistency I was referring to! Ross went off to work in the morning to help pay for the wedding and honeymoon , but he was soon back for lunch with Vicki ( who wasn’t at work)
He clearly sat there after she left to go home , then was next seen in the Vic with Ian and a bit later on with Zac. Even later Vicki suggests a Chinese takeaway and wine then it was dark. So all day Ross had avoided work and they had spent money on lunch and was considering a Chinese, yet they need money for the wedding next month!
It was all over the place and Ross didn’t question why she didn’t go back to the restaurant either. Did he eat alone ?

I agree, the consistency and continuity are so poor these days. It used to be suffering Eastenders prided itself on, but in the last year or so they have either given up, or it's simply not important to them anymore (maybe because they realise that most people watch TV whilst looking at their phones!)

Yep, it annoys dh that I can watch tv and go on my phone as well, then miss things.
I do have to hide the phone first sometimes , but mostly I can do it.
They jump around so much between scenes that I wonder if it’s filmed in tranches. It must make it hard for the cast to keep up too.

Louie🙄 So the Beales have yet about wrong’un in the famjly. Bullying Ollie and now this. I wonder if they are creating another Nick Cotton (I can see an aged Lauren turning into Dot!)

It feels like they filmed bits around people's holidays and are now glueing it together with prittstick. Badly.

I know it’s really bad ( and Louis has form being horrible and bullied Ollie) but I did smile when he blamed Cindy. He was a bit of an egg head once , but also has problems with maths, so could also be things going on at school. His bound to turn into a bad boy / teen though.

How can Alfie be in the flash mob when it was Vicki who dumped his brother for Ross and caused Spencer so much upset he had to pay to fly out to give him a cuddle ? Yet he was happy to find the leg warmers and ( probably) have the reception in the pub !

Why was Ollie out at night taking a photo? Surely he’d be in bed. So I don’t buy that one!

He was shown out with Cindy just before the photo was taken. What isn't explained is how and why he was left alone in an alley/street, and why he was wearing a motorbike glove

Oh and also how he was in some weird setting/hospital the following day, was it at school? Or the portocabin?

I'm so with Ian wrt Vicki cheating and giving Zack a piece of his mind too 👏

Also not buying the idea of Louie turning into a bad boy. He comes across as a really sweet little softy mummy's boy type.

Loved the banter between Lauren and Max. But no way did someone just 'buy a car' without paying a deposit, showing ID etc etc.

Ravi is becoming a danger to those around him now as well 😟

You need a lot of ID and a deposit to buy a car normally. All that nice lady did was sign a piece of paper that didn’t even look official.
I thought Priya worked there too, only seen her there once , did they get rid of her?

Okay so Will taking the video was half-heartedly explained and he's a good lad really. Whatever....

I quite enjoyed that episode though. Ian was very good value, and it didn't seem too ridiculous that Louie was the filmer - following Cindy's blackmail advice 😆I know they start their criminal careers early in Walford but I think he was just being daft, he's not the next drug lord.

80s, Priya was 'out doing a test drive' in an episode earlier this week. She's busy monitoring Ravi's breakdown at the moment I think! I agree the woman today would have had to leave a deposit for the car.

The feud between Lauren and Max is great especially with Oscar on board. They seem to all like each other and it shows. Ian wasn’t too terrible , but they are all hypocritical at times as all have cheated and worse historically!

I’m really sad and I paused it to look at the bill! 🤣

The actors who play the Brannings really do work well together, I look forward to their scenes.

I wonder if the real blackmailer had a sudden leave of absence, so production had to be imaginative, and Louie was on set on the day

I feel the explanation to Will filming the seizure was shoe horned in as so many people pointed out the continuity error of it happening. So they’ve created a really stupid story instead of publicly saying it hey messed up the filming.

I’m not convinced that Vicki will be able to resist Zack’s pecs. Even though he was with Sam , he clearly still likes her and she’ll get married still seeking him out ( because he’ll look lovely in his best man suit of course)
I bet they have a bunk up again pre wedding and may even be another ‘ whose the dad ‘ story, which is always the fall back when they run out of other stories but done to death of course ( very recently with penny and that’s not resolved)

The Zicky story will likely come to a head next month when Vicky and Ross marry, if they do, on her birthday so not long now until it’s all over. I can still vaguely remember the episode where Michelle gave birth to Vicky and Den visiting them in the hospital (40 years ago). Maybe Vicky will jilt Ross at the alter like Michelle did with Lofty.

I also remember Michelle having Vicki and bringing her home. Just a normal birth in hospital I think , no birth dramas during a fire or anything like that.
The ‘ who’s the dad ‘ was well done then.
It was shocking how young she was and was groomed , but she worked it all out. Her family were so unhappy about it ( understandably)

I remember Michelle giving birth and Pauline interfering saying when she had Martin she had xyz painkiller and gas'n'air on tap.
The Midwife ( who came back to EE as another character , Blossom, who was Alan Jackson's gran ) basically told Pauline to back off and 'Chelle was a healthy young girl who would be just fine !

Also loved the Dee and Sam chat ,
Dee has a child with Sam's brother and Sam has a child with Dee's husband .
Makes your head spin !
