I saw ADF lost in Acapulco Raahh. Not that I saw any of it since that tournament is in the worst time zone for us. Sascha and ADM are also out, I kind of want Vacherot to win it all now.

I saw an interview with Andrey where he spoke about being willing to lose points in order to try out new stuff and figure out what works for him and that now he feels he has improved a lot.

Good for him. It can't be easy to learn new patterns of play at his career stage, but on today's evidence it seems to be working. He looked really good against Carlos in Doha as well, even if he lost the match.

That's a shame, Andrey lost to Tallon, even though he was injured.

Could be a good chance for Daniil to win another tournament. But he does have a habit of self sabotaging.

Yes! Daniil has won Dubai before ( I think) so this could be his chance to FINALLY break that 'no repeat' spell!

Daniil has won in Dubai be default, as Tallon has withdrawn injured. Which is a shame, and, as Daniil has said in a statement , not how he'd want to win.
But he gets to defend a title.

A bit mean of Indian Wells not to give a wildcard. They've given one to Gael, who's currently ranked about 170, to Stan's 98 and Stan has a better record than Gael at IW. It would have been nice to see them both there.

Happy for Flavio! I never get to watch any matches in Acapulco so my abiding image of that tournament is the pear and the giant sombrero.
