Sounds like there has been a lot of pettiness going on in the matches.

I think they are all getting a bit over tired.

I haven't liked Fils since he baited Dan from the French bench during a Davis Cup tie about 3 years ago. Obviously Dan didn't take it lying down and also won the match, I think.

Shame that Jack and Cam lost but not unexpected. Don't agree with Aurelie's hindrance call against Jack in the penultimate game though. Utterly ridiculous!! Norrie will regain the British No1 spot on Monday.

Iga losing to Elina means she'll drop behind Rybakina in the the new rankings.

I was only able to watch the Jannik-Learner QF, which was one-sided, made more so by the fact Learner picked up a slight injury to his leg/hip. I like Learner, but unless he can radically improve his serve and return I think he's going to struggle against the best players, a bit like ADM does. His strength is in the longer rallies, but Jannik was mostly able to avoid getting drawn into those.

Not surprised that Jack lost, it was always going to be a tall task to face Daniil the day after the long match against Djok. Interesting to see Daniil's apparent resurgence this year, after a disappointing 2025.

I was surprised that Arthur F lost so badly against Sascha, I thought he might be able to challenge him. I like Arthur, although he definitely has a bit of an edge to him.

I agree about Learner- I like him, he's fun to watch, but yes, his serve does need to improve to challenge at the top.

I think Sascha has been listening to the commentators who seem to have been leaving him out of the conversation this past week- when talking about contenders early on, they didn't mention him at all (despite him being in the top 4).
I am happy to see the Daniil revival- I thought slitting from Gilles was a strange move at the time, but he seems to be finding some of his best form (still has his moments ).

Not surprised to see Linda Noskova in the semi finals - she had a very solid end to last year, is one of the Czech's on the rise.

I think I read that Sascha is now the 5th player to reach the semis of all nine Masters 1000 events, the others being Roger, Rafa, Andy and some Serb.

I’ve been trying to figure out what is going to happen when TNT gets taken over by HBO Max soon. I don’t know whether Sky will still have it or if it’s going to be yet another subscription.

I am trying not to think about the whole TNT/HBO thing. For now, it looks like all the things that were on Sky, are still on Sky- but I don't know what wll happen to the French Open? Will that be TNT? They had only just taken it over. It does look like the HBO app will be available using my existing Discovery plus details?

It feels like we need a different channel/streaming service every tournament now. It’s so confusing (and expensive).

I was just checking the schedules, and realised how close we are getting to Monte Carlo. Clay season coming up already . MC is one of my favourites for the scenery. I have my Monte Carlo Country Club postcard on the fridge from DD1 this year too .

Yes I love those aerial views of Monte Carlo with the tennis court and the sea. Also find the spectators rich looks quite fascinating.

I love it- it's a tournament I would love to go to. DD1 was staying with a friend in a private villa very close by last year- and I was very jealous. It has spoilt her for future holidays, mind you . .

Robbie said Indian Wells and Monte Carlo are his favourite for the views.

Well, Robbie, I agree- although. IW has bees , And Americans. (I'm married to one of those, well a half one).
