A new thread as the first BB aka Blondes Broadcasts is nearly full and was almost 2years ago I set up BB rather then tagging people on the threads as I used to do - which was very time consuming

I love tv - whether murders - detectives - thrillers - comedy’s - food programmes etc

i watch a lot usually at work as usually Reflux baby over shoulder

all will tv paced - Nice to discuss plots and Theories etx

If one feels the need to binge 🙄😛🙀

DO NOT POST ON HERE

till that episode has been shown at tv pace

Thank you kindly 😘😘

it’s a very simple ask yet so many watch all , then reply about something we haven’t seen yet

Blondes glares 😂😂

first thread below

Have we had this?

Robson Green (Grantchester) is taking on a different kind of crime-solving role in ‘The Northumbria Mysteries’. A first-look image has now been released for the BBC drama, along with a UK premiere date (US details to come, hopefully).
Green stars as Joe Ruby, a jack-of-all-trades with a history of mistakes and missed opportunities. He teams up with DI Rose O’Connell, an Oxford-educated detective whose cool manner and analytical approach make her an unlikely partner for Joe. Their investigations take them along the Northumberland coastline and through its surrounding market towns, with the pair frequently testing each other’s patience.
Produced by Newcastle-based Lonesome Pine Productions, the series will have eight 45-minute episodes. It’s coming to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, with the first episode airing on October 23rd. A US broadcaster and premiere date have yet to be confirmed (but we'll update when we know more

This may not interest many, but I'd like to put it here. 😀I've just started watching Prison Island on Walter Presents. So I looked it upon imdb. And I agree, the premise is great: an armed gang take over a remote island off the coast of Brittany. They take the kids out of the village school, everybody. They know all about every one of the residents. They tell them, carry on as on as usual? But who are they? Special Forces? A criminal gang? Does anyone on the island (the shifty mayor?) know any more, or could be complicit? Meanwhile the regular ferry was heading over, until a trigger-happy member of the gang shot at them, killing the pilot. The survivors swam ashore, but what are they heading into?

I think you'll agree, it's a great premise. But the consensus seems to be that they fucked it up. I'm going to see,

I hate it when people are snobby about TV watching as a hobby! Oh only one of the biggest industries in contemporary times, capturing the zeitgeist for nostalgia in the future and a common experience for the whole nation and sometimes globally, and a cultural utopia of writers, actors, directors, comedians, costume designers.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/10/2026 20:22

Oh I love tv. Just a Social life would be nice as well 😂

I agree about how snobby people can be about watching the telly unless it’s David Attenborough or Prof Alice Robert’s etc. it’s a fantastic resource. My viewing is a lot of the stuff Blondes lists on here, this thread is invaluable, but I also do a bit of Gardeners’ World, Proms, Bee Gees documentaries etc 😆 I’m not totally low brow

Not me, this is my dream life spending my evenings on the sofa with a cup of tea and something lighthearted. It doesn’t always happen though!
