Who is Dorothy? Who Seigfried is obviously crushing over

I was pleased to see Siegfried with Dorothy! They're a good match. Much more realistic then he and Mrs Hall.

In RL, Seigfried/Donald's wife was called Audrey - so I'm holding onto that...🤞

Rule 1 of Christmas Specials - do not kill off any animals. Not unless you want to be hated for all of eternity.

I’d be annoyed if Siegfried and Mrs Hall got together, they are employer/employee and it would be a step too far from the books imo.

Loved the episode though 🥰 very cosy and heartwarming. Thought Tristan was going to propose to his girlfriend, they’re a cute couple.

The RL Siegfried, Donald Sinclair married an Audrey, but she certainly wasn't his housekeeper! She was from a wealthy middle class background, and they were happily married for years, with two children.

I know that - I was just pointing out that his second wife was also called Audrey, and given they could have picked any name for Mrs Hall this time round I'm hoping this means this (and the glimpses we've had of the love between them) means they will end up together.

We've just watched this. We were a bit surprised that the poor goat lady wasn't invited to join them for Christmas Dinner as she clearly lived alone.
