Forgot about this so when I was a couple of minutes late to the start, thought it would be all over already!
JP is annoying but he can take a punch or two and lasted longer than I thought he would even if he had to hang on to AJ far too much.

I agree . There was no way AJ could have knocked him out any earlier because of Paul running round the ring and sitting down constantly . I think the referee was very poor . I did find it quite interesting that when Paul did land a right hand it literally had no impact on AJ so he obviously really lacks power

Same! I finally fell asleep just after 4am, woke up 7 hours later. DP had done the shopping, been for a blood test, and he brought me a cup of tea. #VeryBloodyLucky

I’m so glad AJ won else his career would have been over. Paul has posted this morning that his jaw is broken in two places which I’m not surprised about. Paul is such an amateur fighter it was embarrassing for him, especially when his brother was shouting and taunting AJ half way through the fight

I’ve just read about this - just awful.

He is incredibly lucky to walk away from that. It looked dreadful. I was shuddering the way they were moving him around too in case of spinal/neck injuries. The two fatalities were reportedly his longtime friends/coaches who he shared a story with on instagram only hours before.

really freaks me out how your life can just be gone in an instant. 😞
