So that's twice now that Marlon and Rhona have known that Ray will be paying them a visit yet neither of them thinks to record the conversation.

The police woman said they needed evidence but instead of getting any they just keep paying up.

It's beyond ridiculous now and interestingly I have not seen one positive comment on Instagram. Everybody's saying the same as us

One phone call saying he’d threatened them with a gun, was the drug kingpin and that farm would have been swamped by armed police. First thing any sane oerson would have done.
They handed Ray 20k and thought he’d go away because of course drug dealers are so above board.
And April tracked dead/not dead Callum’s home easily but no one seems to think it’s odd there’s no “ family man missing” all over local news. Maybe no one in the family ever uses the internet.
And despite all the hand wringing over the safety of their kids they still don’t lock any doors, have a camera anywhere etc…
Storywriters should be sacked, more holes than an ikea cheese grater.

Agree @CosyPandas the writers need to be sacked it is utter tosh! and has dragged on forever, it is laughable! Get rid of the lot of them April and family and Ray and Celia...it is like a comedy sketch!

On no poor Kim caught in a snare....what was Lydia thinking of going along with this...Kim could have went home at any point and found a houseful of strangers in her kitchen....bizarre!

I actually though Lydia had left the show when she didn't turn up for her own birthday do.

Most houses now have a Ring doorbell or similar and yet in Emmerdale no one locks their doors. People just walk on, shut up shop when they feel like it.

At least they mentioned Nessa was working at the vets yesterday!

Sam and Lydia really are ungrateful shits. Kim has always been good to them and this is how they repay her.

Watching Classic it appears no residents os Wishkng Well ever had any money.

Even if they have no money they could easily get a small loan to fix the wiring because they are both in steady employment. What they do with their money is a mystery. Maybe they give it all to charity.

I’m just waiting for the family to arrive for the weekend so I’ll miss tonight’s episode. To be honest I’m not too bothered. I might have a read at the thread once everyone is in bed. It’s more entertaining than the programme these days.

This is part one of our celebrations. We’re having an early Christmas weekend as we won’t see my son and family again till early new year. It’s also my grandson’s birthday. So I’ve got a happy birthday banner hanging up with the Christmas decs.

I was surprised at Lydia agreeing to Sam’s plan, she’s usually honest and loyal.
