I think the police are onto Ray. A little while ago that police woman came across Ray when she was investigating something else and it was obvious she knew about him and he knew her. She made some comment about his business and he trotted out the legitimate farming machinery line.

I think the police are building a case but without witness statements from Marlon/Rhona/April/Dylan they are limited in what they can do. Presumably they would need a genuine reason for a search warrant. And with these type of criminals it's better to build a case and get them for the more serious stuff rather than go in too early and they get off on a technicality or can only be charged for a much lesser offence.

Bloody hell as if they haven’t dragged it out enough already now we have to wait for Hotten’s finest plods to gather enough evidence to prosecute. Can’t see that happening until the next decade at the earliest then.
