I did enjoy this - it was very good, but I feel they jumped the shark at the end, when the cop said something about 'then you made a choice' (poisoning her husband with something he was allergic to - soy was it?) And then he basically said 'I know what you did, but I'm OK with it.'
No way, in the real world, would a cop/detective let someone go if they knew they had killed someone... Unless he had no proof whatsover. Then again, even if there was no proof, she (Marissa) would have been questioned thoroughly and cross-examined, and forensics would have investigated much more thoroughly and deeply.
Also, I agree with a pp, why did Marissa tell her friend Jenny that her husband swapped the babies and so on...... ??? It's all well and good until they fall out, and then her friend will tell everyone she knows! NEVER tell anyone something that you wouldn't want anyone else to know... EVER.
Also, no way in a million month of Sundays, is Sarah Snook (who played Marissa) is a UK size 8. Just no. She is around a size 14 I would say, maybe a 16 in some clothes.
And that's fine. I don't know why her publicists have to pretend she's a UK size 8. Nothing wrong with being a curvy woman - like size 14 to 16. It pisses me right off when agents and publicists of celebrities lie about them. Their height, their age, their dress size/clothes size. Like it's shameful to be on the shorter side, to be older, and to be curvy/overweight/have a dad bod - if it's a man.
It was like this with the actress out of Derry Girls who was in Brigerton. Her bio online claimed she's a size 8-10, when she was clearly around a size 16. Again, why are they so ashamed of being curvy/plump? It's not a crime!
