Live aid for me too @MrsMoastyToasty! I desperately wanted to see Madonna but was really struggling to stay awake by the time she came on, I’ve no idea what time it was but I definitely fell asleep straight after.

Labour winning in 1997. I was a bit unconvinced by Blair and co. War histories aside, he looks pretty good compared with the current lot.

Andy Murray winning his first grand slam at the US Open in September 2012. Trouble is I was so pumped after such an epic match so I just stayed up all night and then had a very long and tiring day. Worth it though.

This was also me! Couldn't sleep afterwards. And yes was a long tiring day after.

watched the uk women win gold for curling.

elections too I've stayed up to watch results come in

I remember staying up to watch New Kids on the Block on the Super Bowl half time show. It must have been 2 or 3am when they came on, sang “This One’s for the Children” for 30 seconds and that was it. And I had to get up for school the next day. I was an idiot.

Michael Jackson Thriller Video 😮

I remember watching that at the age of 12 after I came home from my friend's house where I'd been watching Live Aid, they were showing lots of music videos and I'd never seen it before. I used to have to sit on the floor in front of the TV with my headphones plugged in so I didn't disturb my parents.
