@bizzey you’re right. I never thought of it like that before but it is a bit weird seeing Victoria and David together and she’s only a teenager and he’s in a relationship with Nicola

Speaking of Nicola, is she trying to help the choir or not? I thought she wanted the choir to fail and her and David get the church but now she’s chosen Gennie as a soloist who has a really good voice

Had quite a few episodes to catch up on.

I FF'd all the Debbie and Jasmine screeching , screaming and wailing scenes !

I know Eli is not a favorite on this thread ...but I do think he is funny and can deliver his comedic lines very well.

I also like how he can switch to sensible and kind as well.
Shane was very palliable for a dead body !

Cant remember much of Aaron around this time .

God this choir stuff is so tedious. It's been going on for absolutely ages.
And don't get me started on that idiotic Gennie continually dithering about with her stage fright.

I can understand why I gave up watching back in the day.

Awful episode with all the endless fighting.

The fighting was hilarious. I don’t know how any of them didn’t burst out laughing especially with Lexi and Scarlett screeching behind them.

I was thinking when the electricity went off it looked like all the sets do nowadays on a normal day.

Yes @bizzey I’m still missing the old slots too. I’ve no idea why they decided to move them to this time because all they did was swap Midsomer and classics and yes, Anna’s dress was gorgeous

Serena mentioned to Robert that she was reading a book she found in the bookcase and Robert told her that Jack had written it which you’d think she might have noticed

I missed this book conversation and didn’t even know Jack wrote a book and I’ve been watching Classic Emmerdale since it started. Emmerdale needs to get back to its roots and they need to watch Classic for inspiration. I think ITV3 started showing them from 1989?

There was role reversal, Jack wasn't interested in farming, Joe got annoyed.
Then Joe worked for Home Farm and Jack got annoyed.

I've got bored of the recent classics, so gone back to the older episodes with Saint Cathy 😅 and annoying Rachel. Much better storylines then.

Instead of bringing random people in like Serena, I'd like Sam (Skilbeck), TJ, Jean to come back. And Alice as long as Cathy stays in Oz.
