The acting and everything is so much better than evening Emmerdale. You can feel the emotion is every actor and actress in this storyline

Yeah and they seem to be making each other cry as well because the acting is so good!

I had been thinking that it was David who was blackmailing Eric .

Glad Val got her wedding fund all back !

I do like Val .

I didn't like Val at the time but like her watching it now. She's preferable to Diane with her overacting. She was laughing at something yesterday and it was so OTT.

Agree this story has been very well done. I can't see many of today's "actors" coping with it.

I don't remember Andy being such a violent thug.

I've always liked Jo, and really feel sorry for her. She's not got much of a life now, especially with the goats going, and the closest thing to friend is Debbie and Andy doesn't like that.

I hope Jo leaves Andy. She has no reason to stay - expected to look after a child that isn't hers, he's got rid of her goats and she's a victim of DV.

Leave him to it and see how he manages without you.

Andy is one of those characters who is a terrible person but because Kelvin was such a good actor people remained fond of him like they do Cain who also treated women appallingly.

It must have been a nightmare filming the DV scenes with that actress when you see what she did to Ryan Thomas though.

@JaneJeffer it wasn't really shown. He was behaving menacingly towards Jo then the next was Diane taking a call to pick up Sarah and then Jo appeared from the bedroom with her arm in a sling. Andy claimed she'd slipped and broken her wrist,

Yes that's a possibility @JaneJeffer. It definitely looked as if bits had been missed out.
