BBC - Film Club - Suranne Jones, Aimed Lou Wood

On ep 1, with these two it should be promising, but I don't get it 😶

She was supposed to be an OTT character though wasn't she

She was also poor in Maryland and Hostage.

I saw it though to the end and found there was enough to like about it. I loved Suranne Jones playing someone who’s a bit all over the place when in recent years I have only seen her play super-cool badasses. I liked the film references and pretty much all the characters were interesting. But the plot did meander too much and it would have been better if it were leaner.
