Thread one is slowly filling up but I like to be prepared

Here is a list of contestants - many thanks to @paperclipp for the list 🙌💕

• Gani - 39 Pizza Hut Manager. Claimed to be bi but is just gay and misogynistic imo-EVICTED
• Cameron, 22 Farmer friends with Derry Girl Jenny
• Caroline, 56 PR - mates with Nigel Farage, goes by the nickname 'Monkey'
• Nancy, 22 speaks 5 languages
• Marcus, 22 - mixed raced boy who had a mini showmance with Elsa which he ended. Handles himself well.

• Teja, 18 Bristolian, runs a cleaning business with her mum - the youngest in the house
• Zelah, 25, Trans man as of 2 years, will not stop talking about it 🙄🙄
• Emily - 25 Tory events manager looking for a husband - EVICTED
• Tate, 27 shiny buttocks, runs a Buff Butler business. V proud of his Engineering Masters with distinction
• Elsa, 21, influencer (she’s big on TikTok) , sees dead people & has found god. Seems very troubled.
• Sam, 27, uses he/they pronouns. Had a brief run in with George over George mocking his campness.
• Jenny - 20 DerryGirl - havent got a bloody clue what she is saying but love her

Then the newer housemates:

• Cameron B, 25, top shagger, lads lads lads vibes
• Feyisola, 33, former cop, wants a hysterectomy
• Richard, 60, was initially in the house to test it for production, before the show started and then was brought back. Has 50 eyes from a task, and was put up for eviction by Caroline
• George, 23, has been on a few tv shows as an extra. Is a parish councillor. Is not afraid to spout his opinions and the group aren't taking to him very well.

Phew!

Nominations tonight. Richard is already up, having been given the evil eye by Caroline

I will say this, though. Much as I may dislike her, Caroline has obviously lived a full and varied life and it’s incredibly patronising to be told she knows nothing by an 18 year old. And I’m saying that as someone who likes Teja.

Also, I didn’t realise her surname was Monk til I just googled her, and her stupid nickname does actually make sense now.

Teja was patronising to Caroline.

My recollection of nominations in previous series was that anyone who got 3 or more nominations were automatically up for eviction. There were times with 5 would be up.

I feel like yesterday was a great example of a lot of political chat. I don’t think Caroline was 100% being in the discussion with good faith at least at the end, but she obviously holds some right leaning views and was open to talking about them in a more open way than George. I feel like Teja and Zelah wanted to try and explain their point but also weren’t as coherent and straight with their messaging as they felt they were often diverting the initial discussion to another that’s linked but a somewhat different topic.

Caroline was wanting to discuss the Indian immigrants, whilst they were talking about Elon Musk and Farage and systematic oppression by those with for want of a better phrase as my minds gone blank “ protected characteristics”. Teja especially seemed to get flustered and suddenly the discussion ends with Caroline being thick and misinformed which of course isn’t going to make Caroline open to more discussion and she goes away feeling attacked for her views and the chance to potentially inform her of their position and potentially change her stance is gone and made harder by the next person she comes across discussing it with.

Caroline is thick and misinformed. Fancy bleating about India doing nothing to support people when it's taken in millions of refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Myanmar.

The disparity between rich and poor in India is huge and I’m pretty sure that’s what Caroline was talking about. As @NervyWegovy said, they were talking at cross purposes. I don’t think Caroline is thick at all and I’m not her greatest fan, but she was trying to have a deeper conversation about something different to the one Teja and Zelah thought she was having.

i really loathe this preachiness coming from - for want of a better phrase - the Youth of Today. All this telling people they need to learn when really they know fuck all themselves. I do think Teja is an intelligent young woman but she was extremely patronising to Caroline.

I just half heartedly caught up. I am so indifferent to the lot of them.

What an absolute flop this series is so far. I cannot stand L&L either anymore.

Any decent viewing recommendations would be much appreciated as don't get the chance to browse much.

I think Caroline has some pretty despicable views but is canny enough to know how that will be perceived. So she voices them as if she is trying to understand, giving her the ability to backpedal if the heat is too much. She's sly.

She’s also spiteful, as evidenced by her treatment of Richard who’s simply bumbling along being his bumbly, rather dull self. However, he’s not an arsehole and she is.

It does seem odd she has got it in for old Dicky.
Her "trap" last night (re the shopping list) definitely feels like she is targeting him, which is uncomfortable viewing but why would she make it so blindingly obvious to the viewers?
She's obviously a smart woman who's been around the block so should know better how to conduct herself to the viewing public so am a bit baffled by her behaviour to be honest 🤷‍♀️

Also going by that website where Caroline is being photographed with celebs there’s so few and so many look like normal random event meet and greets such as at night clubsover such a large span of time it wasn’t impressive to me as I didn’t even know the people
