Thank you for your company Chuffs. Next time.

PotterHead1985 · 26/09/2025 21:08

Hopefully see ye again soon. Someone tag me when the thread is created!!

AutieAdult · 26/09/2025 21:12

I’m glad they went ahead as most of the contestants wanted it to. Well done to the crew for the editing, both taking out contestants and toning down.

I generally don’t watch the celebrity MC so will look forward to professionals.
id love if they read some of the stuff here and made some changes.
Until the next time Chuffs

bizzey · 26/09/2025 21:20

Thank @PotterHead1985 .

Flippertyfloppertyflip · 26/09/2025 21:29

Harry was my favourite. I’m so happy that he won.

PollyDarton1 · 26/09/2025 21:34

So so glad Harry won. Right from his first episode I wanted him to win! I genuinely liked all of them though (less so Olivia)

SundayNightBluesAreHere · 26/09/2025 21:42

I preferred Claire as a person, but Harry’s final meal was amazing.

ButterPiesAreGreat · 26/09/2025 22:02

I had to laugh at the end when it revealed his full name is Harry Maguire. I bet he’s spent years saying “no, not the footballer with the big head.” Wonder how long til the other HM has to say “no, not the chef”. 😂

Right result anyway.

ConstantlyFuriosa · 26/09/2025 22:11

Unlike most on here I really liked Sophie. When she went back to her vegan food it was generally creative and pretty to look at, and I liked her positivity. I knew bloody Harry would win, though. To be fair, his was the best out of the three tonight. I think I expected a bit more from both Clare and Sophie.

I won’t miss Gregg, but I shall miss Jonty. He and Anna made a good team. As much as I enjoy Grace Dent I find her mannerisms best in small doses.

ConstantlyFuriosa · 26/09/2025 22:14

Btw, special shout out to @EsmaCannonball whose posts have made me laugh a lot.

Thanks to all you Chuffians! Chuffers? I’m new to these threads although have been watching the ‘chef for many years.

I did too! I can’t understand why it didn’t twig as I follow all three finalists on Instagram and he has his full name on there 😂

GrandTheftWalrus · 27/09/2025 00:08

Glad harry won. Anyone else think he looked like Ben shepard?

I liked Sophie, but everything was a bit mushroom heavy! I mean, I like mushrooms but there’s a limit.

SnowFrogJelly · 27/09/2025 00:44

Where did Gregg go….

SnowFrogJelly · 27/09/2025 00:44

Glad Harry won

Unfortunately not straight to jail

CarlaH · 27/09/2025 08:24

I am glad they screened this series. When you look at the work that the finalists put in it would have been very sad to have all been for nothing.

I have wanted to see the back of Gregg for years but will miss John.

Same. I think she could have showcased more plant based options.

Harry’s looked delicious!

Daffydaffodil25 · 27/09/2025 08:44

Pleased Harry won but wouldn’t have been disappointed with any of the three finalists. I usually don’t like Anna but actually didn’t mind her this week. I do think it’s a shame John is going as the pairing worked well. I don’t mind Grace in small doses but not sure how it’ll work with her as a full time presenter. Time will tell though.

Flippertyfloppertyflip · 27/09/2025 09:23

I think John went more through his association with Gregg than any other reason. It’s a shame really. I actually thought he was a better presenter without Gregg there.

hattie43 · 27/09/2025 09:28

I think Harry was a worthy winner . I’ll be honest I didn’t miss Gregg at all but I’m not looking forward to next season with Grace and Anna . I just don’t see them as an easy pairing. I think JT will be a big loss .

Davros · 27/09/2025 09:33

Bring back John!

Absolutely this! They must have been panicking for months that this would never air. It must have been torture.

Also, you just knew that anyone who didn’t want to be shown on screen probably didn’t do that well. It would have been a difficult decision. But it was a bit like ripping a plaster off; it had to be done, even if it was going to be painful. I see some of the papers chose the final going out to have a bit of a dig at the programme. Quelle surprise!

Agreed. I actually quite enjoyed him this week. I think he came into his own without the bawdy greengrocer. Its a shame that over one supposed incident, that he has still massively apologised for, he got kicked to the curb

Kreepture · 27/09/2025 23:23

i won't miss John, i can't stand him, i'm sick of hearing him bang on about he thinks the food should taste when its well known he's blown his tastebuds to pieces, and his bloody 'lets hope they dont..' lines.. never mind lecturing the people cooking their native dishes they've grown up making about how its 'meant' to be.. he's a grumpy, patronising twat.
