Alison Steadman's recent "illness" has been an injury resulting from a fall at a Dubai event in January 2025, where she suffered a suspected hairline fracture of her right leg and a broken hand. She was in "a lot of pain" and required a wheelchair. More recently, it was reported that she suffered a fall from a ladder and broke her hip, requiring an emergency hip replacement and forcing her to step away from work.

That sounds really painful. When is Here we go, filmed? Because now I think about it this series she’s not that active she’s always sat down in or doesn’t move around much, maybe that’s why.
