How much do you reckon that long term soap stars are just playing themselves? And who 👀👀?

I'm watching corrie and Dev Alahan is so believable, I think he is like that irl

Same with ian woodyatt aka Ian beale from eastenders

Kate Richie (who played Sally on Home and Away). In an interview she said that one of the reasons she left the soap was because she wanted to figure out who was Kate and who was Sally as there was so much overlap. I think she started playing Sally aged about 8 so presumably she had few memories of not being Sally.

Yes, must be so weird growing up on a soap as well

That's why Jack p Shepherd is the way he is i guess

David from Corrie. Jack P Shepherd was totally David Platt in Big Brother. He just plays himself! (Except Jack isn't evil. I don't think!!! 😆) Although David isn't as evil as he was pre mid 2010s!.......

Agree, after a while you just blend into the character. For him as well, being so young when starting, I think maybe he was slightly influenced by David, especially the wittiness

I was surprised at the difference in R Craigie when he was on Sleb BB. He was quite sweet in Corrie but so much more animated and lively as himself.
