Who's That Woman?

More dark comedy from Wisteria Lane, the claustrophobic, deceptively calm middle-class neighbourhood at the heart of this terrific US drama series. Lynette resists a teacher's attempts to persuade her to drug her hyperactive children; the tape Bree stole from her therapist proves intriguing; Gabrielle's husband gets suspicious; and Susan thinks she's at last struck lucky with the enigmatic Mike. Though not as clever as it thinks it is, Desperate Housewives is a cut above just about any other drama around.It's tightly plotted and directed, there are great comic moments, and the whole thing is irresistibly dark.

I don't care what the critics/reviewers say, it is as clever as it thinks it is. It is so funny. Tonight's episode is brill. (I have E4 and so am a week ahead, but will not spoil it for anyone). I am all ready for it. Have converted some of my friends to it. May it last as long as sex in the city.
